Texas mother confesses to killing daughters, 1 and 6, by smothering them, police say

A Texas girl who confessed to smothering her two younger daughters to death has been charged with capital homicide, authorities stated. 

Madison McDonald, 30, was arrested Monday in reference to the deaths of Lillian Mae McDonald, 1, and Archer Hammond, 6, police within the Dallas suburb of Irving stated. She is charged with two counts of capital homicide of an individual underneath 10-years-old. 

McDonald allegedly visited an Irving police station round 10 p.m. and referred to as 911 from a cellphone contained in the foyer to admit that she killed the kids by “smothering them,” police Tuesday.

“That’s what she believes as how she killed the 2 daughters,” Police Officer Robert Reeves stated. 

Officers had been despatched to the police foyer and her dwelling the place they confirmed each ladies had been useless. A health worker will decide a reason behind demise at a later date. 

Reeves described McDonald as “very calm” throughout her dialogue with investigators. Authorities haven’t decided a motive for the alleged killings.
